近年はブッシュ政権に対して批判的な内容のアルバムを発表したりと何かと話題になっている怒れるカントリーロッカー、ステーヴ・アールのライヴ集。

先ずはアルバム「El Corazon」をリリース後の96年の刑務所での慰問(？)ライヴから10曲を収録。これはMTVで放送されたもので曲間に受刑者のインタヴューも収録されています。

プロモーションで出演したアメリカの有名TV番組で演奏した3曲を挟んでこれも有名な音楽番組「Sessions at West 54th Street」でカントリー・ブルーグラスバンド、デル・マッコリー・バンドと共演したスタジオ・ライヴから8曲を収録。これは翌99年にリリースされたアルバム「The Mountai」に先立つ形で演奏したことになり、全偏カントリー、ブルーグラズ・スタイルの演奏は必見です
