スコットランドの吟遊詩人、ドノヴァンの70年代のスタジオ・セッション集の登場です。

ビートルズとの交流を含め60年代後半に素晴らしい作品を生み出したドノヴァンですが、その後もナッシュヴィル・サウンドやグラムロック、R&Bなど、その時代性を取り入れながらコンスタントにコンサートやレコーディングを行っていました。

ある意味70年代こそもっともクリエィティブな時代だったと言えるかもしれませんが、正にその時期のセッションをコンパイル！

以前Open Road Sessionというタイトルでリリースされていたものとは部分的に異なり、しかも音質は比べ物にならないくらい格段にアップしたサウンドボード録音となっています。

素晴らしい楽曲の連続、ドノヴァンの音楽性を知る上で欠かせないアイテムです！
